Bardock is so badass... anyone else wondering what Goku's mother looked like?

Are Sayans monogamous, or have several mates? It could be that Goku and Raditz are brothers, but of different Mothers... after all, we see King Vegeta in his throne, but there is never a Queen next to him. Vegeta must have a mother as well... so do Sayans ever had the concept of "marriage" in their society? Afterall, that's just a concept we see on Earth why should Sayans have it? And we see that Men and Women in Sayan culture are expected to do the same thing: Fight (in the Bardock special, Celipa fights along with the others and nobody seems to think less of her because she's a woman) so gender does not seem to be an issue in Sayan society, except for reproduction, I guess.

I know, I'm overthinking. But you have to admit I make some pretty interesting questions...
